Terrol Cummins is a highly motivated leader and finance and treasury professional. His key to success thus far is working in high energy sales and trading environments where client satisfaction is optimized and colleagues reach their full potential while contributing to a common vision and the success of the Organization.

Most recently, Terrol was a member of the executive management team for RBC Royal Bank and RBTT Bank in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean for eight years where he demonstrated the qualities of a successful and capable leader co-driving the planning, strategy and overall management of nine jurisdictions. Having commenced as a single person charged with developing a foreign exchange model that was designed to respond stealthily to market characterised by a highly competitive environment, enhanced customer requirements and uncertainty, he was privileged to lead and give strategic direction to a team of traders realising consecutive years of successful revenue generation and market share increases. In this role he interfaced with Government officials in high office around the Caribbean including prime ministers and ministers of finance. He was also required to maintain strong relationships with heads of statutory organisations and private entities such as the Caribbean Development Bank.

Over the last thirteen years with both RBC and Citi he designed and executed strategies
and structures that delivered attractive revenue gains of tens of millions of dollars annually, thereby meeting and exceeding planned thresholds and targets with little or no supervision and oversight. As a result of his achievements he was awarded the prestigious 2014 RBC Cruise Convention Performance Award. Prior to these assignments, he was a fixed income portfolio manager with an off-shore entity whose funds under management exceeded USD10billion with annual revenues of between USD400-600million.

Terrol’s knowledge of finance and treasury is wide and varied – from development finance to banking and investments, to the academic. He has extensive knowledge of Corporate Finance, Fixed Income and Equity pricing, and Portfolio Construction and Management strategies through eight years of lecturing over four thousand students at the graduate andundergraduate level for UWI. There he focused on techniques using broad asset classes and securities within the asset classes to build a successful portfolio through diversification and reducing risk without a corresponding decrease in expected return. Terrol holds a Masters in Financial Risk Management from the top-20 world rated Henley Business School and an undergraduate degree from UWI. He is a devoted family man with a wife and a teenage daughter.
